ABOUT
I feel a sense of life in wood that has grown over the years, adding ring after ring. I started carving because I was drawn to the warmth of wood. Every day I work with wood, hoping that my pieces will come to life and move on their own once they're finished. Since 2018, I've been exploring new ways to express myself, including marionettes and stop-motion animation, and I'm enjoying every step of it.
I can feel the vitality in wood that has grown layer by layer over the years. I was drawn to the warmth of wood and began wood carving. When a piece is completed, I faced it every day, wishing it could move on its own.
Since 2018, I have been enjoying creative activities by incorporating forms of expression such as puppetry and stop-motion animation.

Atelier shop
I've decided to start an atelier shop, though not on a regular schedule.
Although I have a small number of works, I would like to open the door to more.
You can also see the tools and other aspects of the production process that I usually use.

Doll ANIMATION
When I started making wooden dolls, I began to wish they could move. Eventually, that wish became a reality through marionettes and stop-motion animation .
But something is still missing.
That's a story.
When I wrote down the stories of the animals and gnomes I often carve, I found that they were filled with the ideals I had envisioned.
Starting in the summer of 2026, I will begin filming the story of the stump forest.
Please look forward to it.

I was in charge of designing and creating the dolls that appear in the music video for "AVOCADO," a song from TWICE member Chaeyoung's solo debut album "LIL FANTASY." I collaborated with the creative team to bring to life the world that Chaeyoung envisioned.
